Portable PA System Battery Care
To maximise the life of the built‑in rechargeable batteries in this unit, please follow these instructions:
- Charge the unit for 15 hours before first use.
- After the PA has been used for a period of time (usually 3–6 hours), it may shut down as the batteries become flat. Do not reset the on/off switch as this may cause damage. Recharge the unit for 10–12 hours as soon as possible.
- Do not store the PA system with discharged batteries (e.g. over school holidays).
- The PA system may be recharged after short usage; batteries do not need to be completely flat before recharging.
- To prolong battery life, switch the PA off when not in use.
- Do not leave the PA on charge for more than 24 hours.
- The battery manufacturer warrants the batteries for 3 months from purchase date. Damage after this period is not covered by warranty.
Notice regarding humid and corrosive environments:
Due to the electronics and components contained within this portable PA system, exposure to humid or corrosive environments (e.g. chlorine) is not recommended and may affect warranty claims due to premature corrosion of potentiometers and components.
*Please note: Use only good‑quality alkaline batteries in wireless microphone transmitters for best results.
